Reviews should come from people who directly contacted, hired, attended an event served by, or otherwise had a genuine customer experience with the business. Reviewers must use their own MapleVow account and may submit one review per vendor.
Every review is held for moderation before publication. MapleVow may reject reviews containing harassment, private information, threats, discrimination, advertising, copied content, conflicts of interest, or claims that cannot be responsibly published.
Business owners, employees, close affiliates, and competitors may not review their own or a competing listing. Vendors cannot pay for reviews or offer incentives that require a particular rating.
Only approved reviews are displayed and included in a vendor’s public rating. Approval means the review passed moderation; it does not mean MapleVow independently verified every statement. Vendors may report a review for policy review.
Reviewers may request a correction or removal. MapleVow may remove a review when new evidence shows that it violates this policy.
